The University of Douala is one of Cameroon’s leading higher education institutions, located in the country’s economic capital. The Faculty of Science provides modern conference facilities, well-equipped lecture halls, and a vibrant academic environment that is easily accessible from the city center.

🛫 Travel to Douala

• Nearest Airport: Douala International Airport (DLA), located about 15–20 minutes from the university campus.

• Transport: Taxis, ride-hailing services, and shuttle options will be available for participants.

• Accommodation: A list of recommended hotels (budget, mid-range, and premium) near the venue will be provided.

🛂 Visa Information

Most international participants will require a visa to enter Cameroon. Please check with the nearest Cameroonian Embassy or Consulate in your country for specific requirements.

Steps to obtain a visa:

1. Complete your conference registration and payment.

2. Request an official invitation letter from the Organising Committee via email.

3. Submit the invitation letter, proof of registration, and other required documents to the Cameroonian Embassy/Consulate.

• Visa processing times may vary (typically 2–4 weeks). We recommend applying well in advance.

• A valid passport (with at least 6 months before expiration) is required.

• Participants from countries with bilateral agreements with Cameroon may benefit from simplified entry procedures.
